Popular Fall Harvest Concert returns to Kirkwood Park’s picturesque Walker Lake on Saturday, October 8th
As the signature autumn finale to the Making Music Concert Series, this free lakefront afternoon concert has fast become a favorite October tradition. You can take in the fall foliage and crisp autumn air in an idyllic setting while enjoying the ‘60s & ‘70s Americana and country rock music of Rosewood. Bring chairs or blankets and find your favorite spot around the sprawling acreage of Walker Lake on Saturday, October 8th at 2:00 PM.
Rosewood is perhaps best known for its mastery of the tight group vocals required for the signature songs of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the Eagles, the Byrds, and other ‘70s stalwarts. Rosewood’s repertoire of well over 200 songs also includes hits from the Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Beatles, Poco, Pure Prairie League, and many other instantly familiar favorites.
This family-friendly October 8th event is produced by the Kirkwood Arts Commission. Inclement weather information is available at 314-433-4313.
